- What a week at Revolution and in my house
- First Revolution
- Yesterday was a great day
- I am continually blown away by how much I love having church on Sunday morning
- I’m way more awake than I was on Saturday nights and our church seems to be more awake
- Got to have baby dedications yesterday in church
- Always a great time seeing parents take that step in the life of their family and commit to raising their kids in a God honoring way
- I love how our church commits to the families as well
- Really cool having someone in our MC dedicate their child as it is way more personal when I commit to them because I’m on the hook in our MC
- Such a great thing though
- Yesterday was certainly an interesting topic
- I preached from Ephesians 2:11 – 22 on circumcision and what dividing the first century church
- This was certainly a topic that stretched my ability to make it relevant to our world
- It’s one of those passages that a lot of pastors skip, and one of the reasons I love preaching through books of the Bible because I can’t skip those passages
- If you missed it, you can listen to it here
- Along with my attempts to lighten to mood about the topic of circumcision
- Crickets on those jokes
- Keeps me humble
- For our family, we are moving to the Eastside this coming Saturday
- So excited to be living closer to church and our community
- We’re renting out our house and after having it on the market one week it’s been rented
- Such a huge evidence of God’s grace in our lives and how faithful He is
- Even when I doubt or worry, he still proves to be faithful
- Laid out 10 tons of rocks in our yard
- Living the American dream: doing what I’ve always wanted to do to my house for someone else
- Grateful to the guys for helping me out with that
- And so excited to live in town
- Would appreciate your prayers as we transition and all the details involved with that
