Monday Morning Mind Dump…

  • Yesterday was by far one of my favorite days at Revolution ever
  • Yesterday I got to cast vision about living on mission
  • So far, I’ve been loving preaching through the book of John
  • This is the first time I’ve preached through a gospel and have been surprised by it
  • It is definitely perfect timing for our church and where we are
  • Love how God does that
  • If you missed it, you can listen to it here
  • Last week Katie and I continued our 11th anniversary celebration by heading up to Phoenix for a few days
  • It was everything I hoped it would be
  • We sat by a pool and read, we tried on clothes that were out of our price range for fun
  • We also saw Sigur Ros in concert, which was simply amazing
  • We ate at Fogo de  Chao, True Food and The Arrogant Butcher
  • Loved the food tour through Phoenix
  • They were all amazing, but Fogo was easily my favorite, they kept bringing more and more meat to our table
  • Started reading some books I’m really excited about while we were in Phoenix, all on totally different topics: The Relational Pastor, Give & Take and Follow Me
  • Stay tuned for some reviews later
  • We’re getting closer on our summer missions trip to the Czech Republic
  • If you want to give to it, you can do so here and put “summer missions” in the memo part
  • Really excited for this week as I have some meetings with some church planters who are thinking about planting in Tucson and coaching some MC leaders at Revolution
  • And of course, tons of T-Ball with my boys (1 practice and 2 games this week)
