This Weekend @ Revolution || Basic Needs

I love every week at Revolution Church. Every week we get a front row seat to see how God is at work in people’s lives. Last week was an incredible day as we celebrated baptisms and I got to speak on what it means to be a man and a Father by looking at the relationship that Jesus has with His father, our Father in heaven. If you missed it, you can listen to it here.

This week is going to be just as great, so get ready for God to work in your heart and the heart’s of others. Here’s what is happening:

  • We’ll be looking at one of Jesus’ most talked about miracles from John 6:1 – 15, known as the feeding of the 5,000.
  • While the miracle was impressive, Jesus was doing more than just providing dinner, He was telling us something important about Himself.
  • What if Jesus has already satisfied our most basic needs? How would that change the way we handle disappointment?  How would our life be different if we could look beyond the gifts Jesus gives and see Jesus as the gift?

The Planet Rev Sports Camp is happening this week, June 24 – 27 at Magee Middle School. If you have any questions, contact Jared Carter. But make plans to be there and bring someone with you. If you haven’t signed up your K-5th grader, don’t wait!

I’ll see you this Sunday at 10am and be sure bring someone with you (you never know when a simple invite will make an eternal difference).

Remember, we meet at 8300 E. Speedway Blvd. at 10am.
